School Uniform Update, May 2022

On May 23, 2022, the school board voted to add a local business as an option to purchasing school uniform shirts due to supply demand issues through French Toast.

In total, there are now 3 ways to obtain school uniforms.

  • Online from French Toast.
  • In person through Galt Sign.
  • Exchange program through the school.

We are happy to announce that the school has officially adopted school uniforms and will be requiring all students to wear approved uniforms starting in the 2019-2020 school year. We want to provide you with some information that will help you start planning for next school year well ahead of time! We are using French Toast Schoolbox as one of the vendors for the purchase of uniforms. Here are some things you should know!

What does the uniform look like?

  • Tops: Short/Long Sleeve Polos in Navy, White or Heather Grey with the Galt Adventist School Logo
    • These must be purchased from the French Toast Schoolbox Website.
  • Bottoms: Uniform Pants, Bermuda Shorts, or Scooter Skirts in Navy, Khaki, or Black
    • May be purchased from other vendors as long as they fit within the color and style guidelines of the school uniform policy (Costco, Target, Kohl's, Walmart, Old Navy, etc...)
    • Options will also be available for purchase via French Toast for parents who like a "one stop shop!"
  • Spirit Wear
    • We will also be using French Toast as the vendor for our red t-shirts and sweatshirts used for field trips and community service. This part of the website is still being constructed by French Toast.

Why did we choose French Toast?

  • This is a reputable uniform company that does not have any contract fees, set up fees, or school-wide minimum  order requirements. This means as a school we are not caught with a lot of up front fees that could get passed on to parents.

  • French Toast creates a Schoolbox website just for our school. Parents will just have to use the school code and will be directed to pre-approved uniform wear. It keeps the guess work out of the process! Click here for a direct link to the French Toast Galt Adventist School Website.

  • It is very competitively priced for personalized as well as generic uniform options.

  • We get money back! 5% of all purchases via our Schoolbox site for the Galt Adventist School will come back to the school! This acts as a fundraiser and the money we receive will be directed to the Home & School budget.

What's the Bottom Line?

  • Tops will range from $17-20 (this includes the $5 embroidery fee for the logo).

  • Bottoms are competitively priced on the website but can be purchased wherever it best fits your budget as long    as it fits our uniform guidelines!

Galt Sign & Screen Printing

Why did we choose Galt Sign?

  • It's wonderful to support a local business.
  • Providing more options for parents can be helpful.
  • Short sleeve polos can be ordered with the Galt Adventist School Logo.
    • Short sleeve shirts are $21.38 with the embroidered logo.
  • The red t-shirts and sweatshirts used for community service and field trips can be ordered.
    • Red t-shirts are $14.98 for youth and adult sizes.
    • Red sweatshirts are $34.98 for youth and adult sizes.
  • Parents would be able to purchase polo shirts, both short and long sleeves, from a different vendor, then bring those shirts to Galt Sign to have the embroidered logo added on. (Potentially providing a cost savings)
    • Embroidered logo is $10.50 + tax per shirt.
    • There is a 6 item minimum, but families may combine orders to meet requirements.
    • Expect a two to three week turnaround time frame.

Please remember the approved shirt colors are Navy, Gray-light in color, and White.

Please click on the order forms to the right to print, fill out, and email/take into Galt Sign.
