On Friday, March 8th, 2019, the students took baked treats to the volunteer firefighters at the Herald Fire Station. Chief James Hendricks took the time to talk with the students and gave them an opportunity to look at the fire engines. Thank you to all the firefighters who risk their lives to help save others!!!
On Friday, February 8th, 2019, the students took lunch to the employees at The Galt Herald. While there, Bonnie gave the school a tour of the facilities.
On January 11, 2019, the students took lunch to the brave men and women of the Galt Police Department. They got to meet K-9 Copper, see where the holding cells are, and look at a police vehicle and motorcycle. Getting to turn on the motorcycle sirens was the highlight of the kids' day. We thank the Galt Police Department for their hospitality and service to our community!
Every month Galt Adventist School gives back to our community by dedicating a day to community service. On Friday, September 14 we had our first Community Service Day of this school year––cleaning up along roadsides in our town.
