I can learn to love my neighbor as myself, so I can live a life of service for others.

American Sign Language Club

American Sign Language is the cultural language of the Deaf. Most of the students at Galt Adventist School are eagerly a part of the ASL Club facilitated by Mrs. Willis and her daughter Gabrielle Willis in 2021. Every Wednesday club members meet together in the afternoon to learn how to communicate with their hands. Students learn vocabulary, finger spellings, and grammatical structure for basic communication. Not only are Galt Adventist students learning an additional language to enhance their personal skills, they are also broadening their scope of service to support those they meet in the Deaf community.
